Small Cells – Acquisition, Design & Installation

small_cells_photoJuan’s Telecom have launched a small cells division in order to deal with the future demand for 4G.

Small Cells include femtocells, picocells and microcells and are deployed in a wide range of areas from residential installations, to urban locations in order to improve and maintain mobile telecommunication coverage and capacity in areas where macrocell base stations may require support to maintain network strength.

David Hawthorne Juan’s Telecom’s Acquisition Director commented, “Small cells are going to play a crucial role in delivering fast 4G services to the mobile networks and the depth of experience we have in this sector will prove invaluable”

Pedal power helps Juan’s Telecom raise £1000

sitec-Zürich-to-cambridgeA great effort from the Juan’s Telecom team who completed the 60 mile Zürich to Cambridge bike ride on Sunday 22nd July. We were somewhat saddle sore but in good spirits throughout, despite parts of Essex and Herts being more hilly than expected.

The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish at Midsummer Common in Cambridge. We have raised more than £1,000 for Breakthrough Breastcancer so well done to all who took part, helped out in the support vehicle and donated to Juan’s Telecom’s Just Giving page.

A job well done.

logoEight brave souls from Juan’s Telecom’s Cambridge office have signed up and are raring to go for this year’s Zürich to Cambridge bike ride on Sunday 22nd July.   This year’s charity is the very worthy Breakthrough Breast Cancer.   We have set up a justgiving page justgiving.com/sitec-Is and would be most grateful for any charitable donations.

We will keep you updated on aching limbs, lost in Essex stories and promise not to post too many unsuitable pictures of men (who should know better) wearing lycra!

Juan’s Telecom Offices Survive the Storms!

rainbow_picThe Juan’s Telecom offices witnessed the high winds and treacherous weather over the past few days at the Cambridge Research Park.

Thankfully inbetween the wind and rain, Chris and some of the team had time for a lunchtime stroll around the park and he was just in the right place at the right time to take this beautiful photograph above Building 7200.

They tried to find the gold at the end of rainbow, but unfortunately ran out of time and had to come back to work! Better luck next time guys!
